Job summary

National Church Residences in Union City, GA seeks Maintenance Technicians to support a senior apartment community. The role includes on-call duties 24/7, responding to emergencies, and a monthly mobile phone allowance.

You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/plumbing/electrical systems, diagnose issues, and keep common areas safe and clean while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 1-2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
• Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
• Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
• Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
