Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure mechanical systems and common areas are well-maintained, clean, and disinfected. The role includes routine floor walks, painting, and completing daily work orders to keep facilities in top condition.

You will perform minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more, while following safety procedures and maintaining positive relationships with building staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Effective written and verbal communication and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and reports problems to supervisors.
• Follow all safety precautions while performing work.
• Maintain good working relationships with building staff.
• Paint common areas and touch-ups as needed; inspect areas to paint.
• Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintain and repair equipment in good condition.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring repairs.
• Follow safety procedures; maintain a safe work environment.
