Job summary

Boone Hospital Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to provide support across the healthcare facility, performing preventative maintenance and responding to service calls.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work a night shift with potential shift differential. Prior experience is not required, but 2–5 years is preferred for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must remain auto insurable per insurer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance duties on schedule and responds to service calls throughout the facility.
• Assists mechanics and completes minor repairs under the direction of the lead or the supervisor.
• Assists mechanics and completes minor repairs under the direction of the lead or the supervisor.
• Uses personal protective equipment and handles hazardous materials and waste in accordance with safety, infection control and universal standard precautions procedures.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Performs accurate and effective repairs on equipment and building systems. Calls in more qualified personnel when repairs are beyond his/her capability.
