Job summary

Boston Higashi School is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Randolph facilities team. The role is full-time and hourly, offering stable hours and excellent benefits. You’ll perform repairs, painting, carpentry, and light plumbing to keep the campus safe and welcoming.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work with the team, and respond to maintenance requests across the school. A Massachusetts driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete general building repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with painting, basic carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, and other projects.
• Respond to maintenance requests throughout the school.
• Help maintain school buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies when needed.
• Assist with deliveries and maintaining maintenance supplies.
• Help with snow removal and seasonal grounds work.
• Perform some custodial work as needed.
• Work with other members of the maintenance team on larger projects.

Boston Higashi School is looking for a dependable Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team.

If you are handy, comfortable using tools, enjoy fixing things, and take pride in keeping buildings and grounds safe and well maintained, we would like to hear from you.

You do not need to be licensed in a trade. We welcome applicants with experience in maintenance, construction, custodial work, painting, landscaping, apartment or property maintenance, or other hands‑on work.

What You'll Do
