Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Tyler, Texas is seeking a dedicated Maintenance team member to perform routine and preventive maintenance, refurbishments, and repairs at Meadow Lake. You will handle drywall work, tool upkeep, and material handling to keep facilities in top condition.

The role offers a pay range of $19.42-$26.74 hourly. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in building maintenance, with state licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in building maintenance or construction.
• Certification, license or equivalent as required by state/local regulations to operate/repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies; notify supervisor for replacements.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs.
• Complete work within scheduled time frame, according to budget and priority set.
• Install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of drywall or other material.
• Pick up and deliver supplies.
• Operate maintenance equipment including hand/power tools, company vehicles, or snow blowers.

• Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance. Identify deficiencies and follow procedure for correcting problems.


• Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition, and notifies supervisors to ensure adequate replacements are available as needed.


• Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs.


• Complete work within scheduled time frame, according to budget and priority set by supervisor.


• Install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of drywall or other material.


• Pick up and deliver supplies.


• Operate maintenance equipment not limited to hand or power tools, company vehicles, or snow blowers.

And here's what you need to apply:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical education preferred.


• A minimum of one-year experience working in building maintenance or construction.


• Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment.


• A state issued driver's license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.
