MAINTENANCE - Fremont, NE

This is a full-time, hourly position with a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule. The wage is $26.07 based on experience. We seek a high-potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities within our Maintenance Department at the Fremont location.

Assignments

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

• Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment.
• Operating hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Troubleshooting mechanical failures and pneumatic systems.
• Repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining mechanical drive systems.
• Installing material systems.
• Fabrication.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understanding and following safety procedures.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in various conditions (heat, cold, dust), and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and collaboratively in a team when required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Previous welding, pneumatic, and mechanical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical is a plus.
• Willingness to attend formal trade school courses as directed and ongoing training during the training period.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
