Job summary

Americare is seeking a full-time Maintenance Team Member for SummitView Terrace (Assisted Living) in Kansas City, MO. The role includes maintenance of buildings and grounds, routine repairs, safety compliance, and collaboration with residents and leadership. Shifts are Days with occasional evenings and weekends; pay is $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and follow maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform routine and minor maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, wiring, and general repairs.
• Maintain furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and water systems to ensure resident comfort.
• Replace air-conditioner filters and complete monthly maintenance checklists.
• Assist with disaster preparedness, including fire drills and emergency readiness activities.
• Notify management of major repair needs involving lighting, HVAC, plumbing, or building systems.
