Job summary

Citarella is seeking a Maintenance Technician in New York, NY. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support warehouse goals.

The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic work and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, refrigeration, cooking equipment, carpentry, and electrical.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely handle and operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities in the warehouse.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; diagnose problems and replace parts.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and basic plumbing/carpentry tasks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain clean, organized work areas.
