Job summary

The Float Maintenance Technician at Rudeen Management Company is responsible for general maintenance, unit turns, painting, some electrical/plumbing work, appliance repairs, and upkeep of grounds and common areas across WA sites including Liberty Lake and nearby communities. You will work under supervision from the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, 18+, valid driver's license, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a preference

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and painting.
• Valid driver's license.
• English language proficiency.

• General understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards in housing.

This position will help all properties in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Cheney, and Airway Heights.**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with company standards and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor, Regional Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager* Timely unit turns - Getting vacant apartments ready for the new tenants to move in* Painting* Some electrical and plumbing work* Repairing appliances* Maintain the grounds* Up-keep the curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas at one or more properties* Track inventory and work order filing## Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent* Must be 18 years of age or older* 1-year experience preferred, not required* Able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds individually, regularly* Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and painting* Valid driver license* English language proficiency* Great customer service* General understanding of Microsoft Suites* Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards as they apply to residential housing**Physical Requirements:*** Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.* Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling* Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time.
