Job summary

Ashland Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep resident areas safe and well‑maintained. You will work closely with nursing staff to coordinate daily maintenance services, perform routine repairs and preventive tasks, and assist with refurbishments.

The role includes maintaining grounds, equipment, and building systems for resident comfort, plus supporting safety inspections and process improvements. A high school diploma and 2+ years in maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in building trades, maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software to carry out upkeep and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing staff in resident areas.
• Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and assist refurbishing projects.
• Maintain grounds and ensure safe outdoor environments.
• Keep equipment and building systems well-maintained for resident comfort.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills for compliance and security.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve maintenance processes.
