Avardis Health in Ashland is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents. You will work with nursing staff to coordinate daily maintenance services and perform repairs and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in building trades, familiarity with industry tools, and skills in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in building trades, maintenance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software is essential to effectively carry out tasks related to facility upkeep and repair.
• Knowledge and skills in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing staff.
• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance; assist with refurbishing projects.
• Maintain the facility's grounds for a safe, pleasant outdoor environment.
• Keep equipment and building systems properly maintained for resident comfort.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills to ensure compliance and security.
• Implement innovative ideas to improve maintenance processes.
