Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep tanning and spa equipment, laundry facilities, and salon spaces in top condition. The role supports a consistent, high-quality guest experience in a clean, well-maintained setting.

You will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inventory tasks while collaborating with salon teams. The position requires a 7:00am start, Monday–Friday, with on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
• Reading schematics is a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised in a team environment.
• Accurate, detail-minded with good time management.
• Excellent customer service and organized work habits.

Responsibilities

• Be at a salon by 7:00am, Monday through Friday.
• Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
• Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
• Available for alternating on-call shifts with other technicians.
• Manage daily/weekly reports and scheduling.
• Track monthly expense reports.
• Work with salon staff to uphold Sun Tan City policies.
• Perform weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
• Open availability is required.
