Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep tanning and spa equipment running and facilities clean and safe. The role requires early morning starts, reliable transport, and the ability to work independently or with a small team to ensure top-quality guest experiences.

You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, manage inventories, and complete reports while upholding company policies. A strong customer-service mindset and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
• Ability to read schematics is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be well organized.

Responsibilities

• Be at a salon by 7:00am, Monday through Friday.
• Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
• Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
• Must be available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians.
• Manage Daily/Weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
• Track and record monthly expense reports.
• Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
• Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
• Open availability is a must.

Job Summary
