Job summary

Englewood Health and Rehab in Englewood, OH, is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to join our on-site facilities team. You will assist with routine maintenance and repairs of building systems, equipment, and grounds, and support daily safety checks.

Daily pay is available after the first billing cycle. The role requires basic knowledge of maintenance tools, the ability to work independently or with a team, and a willingness to handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks while

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tools and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with routine maintenance and repairs of building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Performing minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Conducting daily safety checks and responding to maintenance requests; Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Supporting emergency maintenance needs as required.
• Other duties as assigned
