PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is opening a brand-new facility and seeks a Maintenance Tech. I to operate department equipment and perform general maintenance across the building.

The role emphasizes safety for staff, patients, and visitors and may involve security duties when needed. Candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred electrical maintenance licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. An electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General maintenance background experience required; hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for the operation of department equipment and general maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Duties are performed in accordance with standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages.
• Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned.
