Job summary

PAM Health is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken, SC, and seeks a Maintenance Tech I to support equipment operations and facility upkeep. You will help provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role involves on-site duties, opportunities for training, and growth as the facility expands its maintenance program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• One to two years related experience and/or training; general maintenance background preferred in hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment and perform general maintenance to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Maintain facility and equipment per applicable standards; ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
• Provide security in the absence of a security officer and perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for the operation of department equipment and general maintenance of the facility & equipment. These duties are performed in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, & visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. An electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• Experience: One to two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
