Job summary

A-Gas in the Americas is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Bowling Green, OH facility. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining all site equipment to ensure smooth operations and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in manufacturing, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and overtime as needed, with training and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably manufacturing.
• Driver's license required.
• Knowledge of mechanical pumps, hoses, motors, valves, connections and fittings.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing/replacing valves, pumps, gauges and instrumentation.
• Physically capable and available for overtime, weekends and evenings.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance policies (lock out/tag out, confined space entry, OSHA, Hot Work).
• Experience with electrical (tracing circuits, running conduit, calibration), plumbing, welding (MIG, Brazing), boilers (steam), and air systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• EPA 608 certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment and perform repairs.
• Maintain quality control of site equipment and perform reactive maintenance.
• Run tests to ensure leak-tightness and proper function; document results.
• Maintain preventive/open maintenance logs and assist in PM development.
• Install, repair and maintain all equipment; oversee contractors as needed.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and promote a zero-harm work culture.
