Job summary

ExcelCare At the Pines in Atlantic City, New Jersey, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join our 151-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

You will contribute to equipment upkeep and grounds maintenance, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and facility team as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep the facility in good condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Assist in maintaining facility equipment and machinery.
• Contribute to upkeep of grounds and exterior areas.
• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
