Job summary

Caring Heart Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to help keep our 269-bed facility safe and well-maintained. You will perform routine tasks and respond to repair requests to support residents and staff.

This role offers a collaborative team environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a tangible difference in daily operations. Experience in maintenance (1-2+ years) in LTC preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in an LTC setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing and electrical work to keep the facility safe and clean.
• Repair and maintain equipment, machines and fixtures throughout the facility.
• Assist with minor construction and renovation projects as needed.
• Support outdoor maintenance tasks including snow removal and landscaping.
• Respond promptly to repair requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
