Genesis HealthCare in West Virginia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine repair work across our facilities, from handrails to electrical safety equipment. You will help keep residents safe and comfortable while supporting a collaborative care environment.

The role involves handling HVAC filter changes, lifting and stocking supplies, and stepping in for the Maintenance supervisor when needed. A high school degree with basic wiring/plumbing/carpentry knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent with basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
