Genesis Healthcare in Cedar Grove, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our nursing center clean, safe, and well‑maintained. You will perform a variety of tasks to preserve a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsabilités

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri‑chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
