Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair building systems across our communities in Austin, TX. The role supports daily operations by performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, and assisting with generator and kitchen equipment upkeep.

You will respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with community directors, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining building systems including HVAC and elevators.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems.
• Maintain generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cords.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents.
• Communicate with local authorities and ensure compliance with regulations.
