Job summary

ZRS Management, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor certified by EPA to join our on-site team. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in delivering skilled, safe, efficient service to residents and support turnover projects while upholding our standards for quality and safety.

You will coordinate with the Property Manager, manage preventive maintenance, and help maintain the property’s exterior and common areas.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a property, must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• Willing to work on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and related systems.
• Carry out apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweep, mop, vacuum, trash, wash windows, etc.
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding and shutters issues.
• Support preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe conditions of equipment and structures; maintain inventory of tools.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe all safety rules.
