Job summary

The Management Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Palm Desert, CA. You will perform general maintenance, repair of structures, plumbing, electrical systems, and related tasks in common areas of the Association.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of property maintenance experience, a High School Diploma, and proficiency with MS Office. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the General Manager and requires a valid driver's license and willingness to learn proprietary software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4–5 years property maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time-sensitive issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Paint and touch up common areas.
• Clean and repair lighting, solar panels, and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain decks, fences, doors, and sidewalks.
• Perform grounds maintenance and debris control.
• Monitor and assist with HVAC performance in common areas.
• Troubleshoot exercise equipment, AV, cameras, and gate systems.
• Manage trash and recycle bins in common areas.
• Daily patrol of exteriors, interiors, pools, and parking.
• Maintain supply inventory and expense records.
• Keep a clean work area and tools.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
