Job summary

MG Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support Emerald Place in Beaverton, OR. The role involves caring for apartment units and common areas, handling service requests, appliance repairs, painting, turnovers, and on-call emergency support.

The candidate should have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, be proficient in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), and deliver strong customer service in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance on 200-unit properties.
• Experience across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Customer service oriented and team player.
• On-call rotation availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on units and common areas.
• Address service requests promptly and professionally.
• Repair appliances and perform basic trades.
• Paint and prepare units during turnovers.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.
