Maintenance Technician - Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley. The hotel features 267 guest rooms, 14 meeting rooms, and 19,000 square feet of event space.

This role involves providing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry, to ensure the hotel remains attractive and well-maintained.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Full availability to work AM, PM, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• At least 6 months of hotel maintenance experience or related studies.

Classification: Full Time

Hourly Wage: $23.50

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest calls and work orders to repair machinery and equipment.
• Performing repair and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conducting inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
• Recording and reporting repairs and items needing further attention.
