Job summary
Nucor Towers & Structures in Brigham City, UT, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support safety, electrical and mechanical maintenance on a production line at a temporary site before moving to a permanent NTS facility in Brigham City.
The role offers exposure to state-of-the-art steel manufacturing equipment, with responsibilities including developing safe work practices, implementing new equipment, and maintaining and troubleshooting production systems, while collaborating across departments to
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
- 2 years industrial maintenance or equivalent in an industrial setting.
- Willingness/ability to perform basic functions described.
Responsibilities
- Supporting development of safe work practices and procedures for the facility.
- Supporting the implementation of new equipment and technologies.
- Support plant operations by safely maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment.
- Attending and facilitating relevant trainings on equipment and maintenance best practices
- Working closely with all departments to plan future needs and/or improvements
