Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep and resident services across our Texas portfolio. You will be the team’s right-hand in keeping buildings in top condition, addressing maintenance requests, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of community maintenance experience, strong knowledge of building systems, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Able to use computers and related applications.
• Jack of all trades with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Support management in upholding community and corporate standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining shop, equipment, inventory, and security.
• Be an inspector to maintain curb appeal and overall property appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.
