Job summary

Associa in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other building systems, evaluate issues, and coordinate supplies. The role supports a hotel-like environment for residents and guests and collaborates with management on repairs and safety compliance.

Full-time position requiring a High School Diploma or GED, 7–10 years of related experience, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety standards. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of related experience; 0–3 years community association experience optional.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong safety/compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.
• Supervise all general building maintenance.
• Oversee landscaping and grounds equipment upkeep.
• Maintain clean, orderly conditions and regular inspections for repairs.
• Supervise outside contractors and monitor high-traffic areas.
• Light detailing: glass cleaning, dusting, floor care.
• Support event setup and cleanup in amenity spaces as needed.
• Coordinate with management for supply inventory and report concerns.
• Contribute to delivering a hotel-like environment for residents and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
