Job summary

Redstone Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Urbana, IL to protect and enhance the community value and improve residents’ living experiences. You will perform basic repairs, upkeep common areas, and oversee apartment turnovers to ensure quality ready units.

This part-time, hourly role requires 1+ year of experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to lift 75 lbs and stand long shifts. We offer 401K with up to 6% matching and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant industry experience; property management a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Basic maintenance skills; pool service/maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and stand 8–10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the property maintains exceptional curb appeal and is well maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, tidy clubhouse, office, model, hallways and common areas.
• Keep the grounds free of trash, debris and animal waste.
• Maintain landscaping, including watering flowers.
• Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins and oversee turnovers.
• Communicate issues to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and procedures.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Participate in Redstone training as required.
