Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain property equipment and fixtures across resort-like cottages and buildings. You will respond to maintenance requests, inspect facilities, and keep all records up to date.

The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge and a commitment to keep spaces clean and guest-ready. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in maintenance, is at least 18, and can work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the property.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain property equipment, fixtures, or mechanics.
• Respond to maintenance requests from management, staff, and residents and complete tasks promptly.
• Inspect cottages, buildings, and common areas.
• Maintain tools and maintenance equipment; keep the maintenance room neat.
• Perform electrical, heating, and plumbing repairs; basic HVAC and plumbing tasks.
• Maintain all maintenance logs and work orders.
• Prepare vacant rooms for new guests, including carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.
• Ensure the property is clean, guest-ready.
• Provide regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
