Job summary

Magna Exteriors seeks an experienced maintenance specialist to support and improve our electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.

The role requires a GA-licensed electrician, an associate degree or equivalent, and solid experience with PLCs, VFDs, and robotics. You will follow safety standards, contribute to continuous improvements, and train others in preventive maintenance practices.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in a related and technical field is required; six years work related experience may be substituted for degree.
GA State Licensed Non-Restricted Electrician.
Must be computer literate on the Windows platform.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance activities consistent with departmental expectations and goals.
Identify, communicate and document difficulties relating to the product, process and/or quality system per Decostar directives.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to prevent non-conformities.
Verify implementation and effectiveness of solutions; participate in control plan updates per IATF 16949.
Develop, implement, verify and document parameter settings for all application equipment to meet quality standards.
Maintain organized daily logs of maintenance activities and data.
Work with equipment suppliers to collect application and performance data.
Train personnel in preventive maintenance methods as directed by leadership.
