Job summary

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions, read blueprints and schematics, and assist in building equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, updating PMs, coordinating with operators, and keeping the workspace clean and parts organized.

Qualifications

• Two years technical training with four years of hands-on maintenance experience, or six years of maintenance background.
• Experience wiring electrical/mechanical equipment and interpreting electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC principles and safe repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders detailing electrical or mechanical problems on production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment as scheduled.
• Assist engineers in building production equipment from blueprints; read schematics.
• Create/ revise PM procedures for equipment.
• Communicate with operators to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized shop area and inventory of repair parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
