Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure plant equipment operates reliably and safely. The role involves electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing and pipefitting tasks, plus building new equipment from blueprints.

Work will require troubleshooting and proactive maintenance leadership on the 2nd shift. Qualifications include 2+ years in industrial maintenance or 5+ years, a two-year technical degree, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and PLC programming.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years industrial maintenance with technical two year degree or five years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
Additional maintenance skills training through accredited formal programs.
Able to work 2nd shift 3pm-1am Mon-Thurs, occasional OT Fridays.

Responsibilities

Ensure plant equipment operates properly and safe working environment is maintained.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or mechanical malfunctions.
Perform electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing and pipefitting work on equipment.
Assist in building new production equipment per blueprints and schematics.
Work solo or with maintenance staff under supervisor direction.
