Job summary

Towne Centre Assisted Living is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the safety and reliability of our facilities. The role requires strong time management, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

The ideal candidate has technical training or trade school experience and handy skills in electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, and roofing. You’ll perform inspections, preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and oversee contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, and roofing.
• Experience working alone and in a team.
• Technical education or trade school completed.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks.
• Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Repairing roofing when needed.
