Job summary

Discipleship Ministries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building services, grounds, and equipment maintenance under the Lead Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include electrical, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing work, and proactive PM tasks, with diligent record-keeping and safe work practices.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of related maintenance experience and hold vocational or technical schooling credentials, along with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical schooling or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience in electrical, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing maintenance.
• Excellent record keeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Maintenance Technician in building services and grounds maintenance.
• Perform PM on equipment and systems and document repair history.
• Install light fixtures and electrical power and control wiring per electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and assist in HVAC room equipment repairs.
• Support security and safety projects for building, grounds, and parking lot.
• Maintain timely communication with supervisor.
