Job summary

Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbus, OH is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running safely and efficiently while supporting a welcoming worship environment.

You will conduct routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring, inspect the building for damage, and document repairs and service dates for ongoing accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• On-call availability for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Inspect the building for structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep records of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep equipment operating efficiently and prevent safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
