Job summary

SeAH Superalloy Technologies is seeking a Technician to join their team at a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Qualifications

Job Summary:

Join our team and embark on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a world-class, greenfield facility focused on manufacturing superalloys for the aerospace, space, and defense industries. Initial hiring will occur in Q3 2025. Responsibilities include metal fabrication, equipment erection, and installation activities, followed by commissioning and troubleshooting alongside vendors and engineering. Once operational, technicians will handle preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment in a metals manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electrical systems supporting vacuum, compression, hydraulic, mechanical, robotic, pneumatic systems, and furnace power supplies is required, along with the ability to perform preventive and emergency repairs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building the facility and installing equipment.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, including furnaces and downstream processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and robotic faults.
  • Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections for safety and performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address safety, reliability, and uptime issues.
  • Assist in equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot electrical components, motors, sensors, robots, automation systems, and PLCs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, PLCs, and automation platforms
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Attention to detail and task prioritization
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call work

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Work in noisy, hot, or hazardous environments with PPE
