Accelera in Whiteland, IN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to support our production facility on the 2nd shift. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, maintain machinery, manage third-party contractors, keep maintenance records, and help ensure safety and reliability of utilities and HVAC.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance or a related field, at least six years of hands-on experience, and strong administrative skills to maintain

  • Minimum of six years of practical, direct maintenance experience.
  • Proven ability to manage third-party contractors for building utilities and safety infrastructure.
  • Strong administrative capabilities to manage maintenance logs and parts inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and fix issues related to production machinery, electrical infrastructure, and facility utilities.
  • Execute routine upkeep and necessary fixes for manufacturing hardware and electrical parts to ensure operational continuity.
  • Suggest modifications to equipment or workflows to boost overall quality, performance, and system reliability.
  • Keep accurate documentation of electrical schematics, maintenance history, and inventory of replacement components.
  • Oversee the stock levels of essential spare parts to ensure critical equipment remains functional.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance staff to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Analyze persistent equipment failures to develop and apply long-term corrective measures.
  • Support the setup, evaluation, and initial operation of newly acquired machinery.
  • Oversee external service providers tasked with maintaining HVAC, utility, and fire safety systems to ensure facility standards are met.

Job description

We are currently looking for a talented and driven Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to become a key member of our production facility located in Whiteland, IN.

Compensation and Schedule:

The hourly rate for this position is between $29 and $33. This role operates on the 2nd shift.

Core Duties:
