Base pay range

SUMMARY

A Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Mechanic, Electrician) is responsible for performing ongoing equipment maintenance and repairs. Duties include fixing machinery, wiring, inspecting equipment for safety standards, and scheduling major repairs with equipment inhabitants.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Technician ensures equipment operates smoothly and repairs issues promptly. Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and implementing preventive maintenance schedules and backup plans.
• Monitoring maintenance progress and updating ERP systems.
• Checking equipment condition and performing maintenance to ensure stability.
• Managing spare parts and tools.
• Replacing broken parts or damaged wiring.
• Addressing equipment failures proactively.
• Preventing recurrence of failures.
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance.
• Fixing safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Working various shifts, including nights and overtime.
• Creating and managing equipment documentation, SOPs, and manuals.
• Analyzing breakdowns and performance data for improvements.
• Providing training and coaching to technician personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates possess a mix of manual skills and soft skills, including:

• Two years of college or technical school (preferred).
• Over one year of experience in the semiconductor field (preferred).
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, electrical wiring, plumbing, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, handle pressure, and work irregular hours.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in cleanroom and wet lab environments.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI, C programming, reading electrical drawings, CAD software, and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal, attention to detail, and team skills.
