This job will work on a ROTATING shift.

Industrial Electrical Maintenance

Performs electrical and electronic advanced maintenance inspections, diagnosis, and equipment improvements, providing support in emergencies, engineering improvements, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards. Provides support as a technical referent.

Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Main Activities:

• Makes failure analysis, establishing the root causes and taking actions to prevent repetitions.
• Interprets electrical drawings.
• Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs.
• Performs programming and adjustments in variable speed drive controls.
• Intervenes in PLC malfunctioning, identifying software or hardware failures.
• Handles sensors, control loops, and variable speed drives.
• Ensures the availability of resources and spare parts needed for tasks.
• Checks the correct functioning of tools, instruments, and accessories to meet specifications.
• Carries out repairs and improvements on large electrical engines, low and mid voltage panels, and protection systems.
• Inspects, diagnoses, and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
• Follows up on repairs to ensure effectiveness.
• Collaborates with the Base Group in preventive activities.
• Interacts with other departments.
• Operates forklift or radio control overhead cranes when applicable.
• Updates maintenance information systems and prepares reports.
• Leads Electric/Electronic Emergency Crews.
