JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues, making repairs according to policies, safety standards, and codes.
  2. Carry out the “make-ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, creating maintenance lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, and inspecting completed work.
  3. Follow procedures for accessing and managing materials, supplies, and tools, including inventory tracking and reordering notifications.
  4. Accurately document and complete paperwork for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
  5. Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and debris removal.
  6. Support cost control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and practicing efficient use of materials and tools.

The hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.00 to $19.50.

Additional Compensation

Factors influencing pay include business needs, experience, skills, and location.

  • Corporate Positions: May include quarterly or annual bonuses based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: May include weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus programs.
