Job summary

Bachoco USA in Heavener is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift to operate, maintain, and repair processing equipment across our production lines. You will inspect machinery, perform preventive maintenance, adjust product flow, troubleshoot, and coordinate with supervisors to keep lines running safely.

Responsibilities include cleaning and lubricating moving parts, installing and repairing components, monitoring for unusual sounds, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Summary

Operates, maintains, and repairs a machine by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Makes sure that the machine is working properly.

Adjusts product flow from the machine.

Adjusts and checks equipment used for different products being run.

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.

Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts.

Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

Installs and repairs electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

Keeps the equipment clean.

Notifies management if there is a machine malfunction.

Education and/or Experience
