Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Production Worker for the 2nd shift in Heavener, OK. Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, performing unskilled labor at various stations as directed by supervision to support our poultry processing operations.

The role requires no prior experience or training and emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Summary

Performs various, unskilled production labor duties at any/all Foods locations as assigned by Supervisor by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works at assigned work station or other work stations with equivalent job requirements as production needs require and as assigned by supervisor.
• Fills in for other production employees with lesser or equivalent job requirements due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to count.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme hot. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
