Perimeter Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support a safe, welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. You’ll perform sheetrock repairs, electrical and HVAC audits, and routine upkeep of floors, lighting, and outdoors to maintain a secure campus.

The role is full-time, day shift, with a pay range of $16.00–$18.00/hour. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are preferred; Driver's license is a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a commercial building setting, including electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning equipment.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and ability to follow all safety measures.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, with the ability to properly maintain department tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform sheetrock repairs, painting, and routine facility upkeep.
• Ability to perform routine labor and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair sheetrock, paint, change light bulbs, maintain ceiling tiles, clean carpets, and strip, clean, and buff floors as needed.
• Complete scheduled audits of electrical and HVAC systems.
• Maintain audit reports and facility documentation as needed.
• Perform routine repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Operate inside and outside equipment to help maintain safe lawn, sidewalk, and parking areas, including mowing, snow, and ice support as needed.
• Ensure playground equipment is functioning safely.
• Follow all facility safety guidelines and help maintain a clean, secure, and supportive environment.
