Job summary

Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for the freight and transit rail sectors. This entry-level maintenance role supports our warehouse team in Yankton, with early shifts and opportunities to learn on the job.

You will perform safety checks, repair and maintain equipment, coordinate with vendors, and document repairs. Training and benefits are provided, with potential travel based on project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety and maintenance checks.
• Replace cords and parts on broken or worn-out equipment.
• Repair hand tools and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment and machinery.
• Document repairs and complete data entry.
• Follow all safety lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist with snow removal and lawn care.
• Support other production areas as needed and qualified.
