Wabtec in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair equipment to safeguard safety, quality, and cost. The role requires troubleshooting, teamwork, and the ability to work on varied tasks across the plant.
The position offers a 4-day, 10-hour shift (Mon–Thu, 3:15pm–1:45am) with a night differential. Candidates need 3+ years in industrial or facilities maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and willingness to pass drug tests and background checks.
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintenance solutions that impact safety, quality or cost in a positive way in all areas of the facility. You must be comfortable with the job being different each day. Troubleshooting is a key attribute for a maintenance technician, you will be faced with problems from the shop floor and you, along with team members from the shop floor and the rest of the Plant Services team will be accountable for coming up with solutions. In addition to maintenance, you will have responsibility for the handling and placing machinery and equipment and other duties as assigned.
