Job Summary

Salary: From $20.95 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime available on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Set-Up Tech must be mechanically inclined with some mechanical experience. Responsibilities include changing product, sizing, and machine tooling, troubleshooting and fixing unpredictable problems, supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives, performing operator preventative maintenance, acquiring QA samples, and ensuring safe and efficient production while maintaining good housekeeping. The role involves collaborating with the team to improve line uptime and efficiencies, completing preventive maintenance, and leading or assisting with special projects. The Set-Up Tech must handle stress well and stay calm during troubleshooting and adjustments to machinery.

Education and Experience Profile
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to handle stress and maintain a calm demeanor
Required Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 65 pounds with or without assistance
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated levels
  • Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, and steel-toed shoes. Typical working conditions are standard for a manufacturing environment.
