Qualifications

Job Summary

Are you a skilled technician looking for a dynamic role in maintaining and improving production and industrial machinery? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft II) and play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly. You'll handle repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, production machinery, and facilities, while mentoring less experienced technicians.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Assemble, repair, and install wiring, components, pipe systems, plumbing, and machinery.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using blueprints and manuals.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery and systems running efficiently.

  • Use hand tools, precision instruments, and testing devices for maintenance tasks.

  • Log work orders, track parts, and manage data in the CMMS system (MVP Plant).

  • Mentor team members and assist with training.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.

  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience as an electrical technician in manufacturing.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or lean manufacturing is a plus.

Required Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and NFPA 70 compliance.

  • Mechanical Skills: Experience repairing and maintaining machinery and diagnosing issues.

  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving operating errors.

  • Team Player: Collaborative and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Safety Awareness: Familiar with OSHA safety programs and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

  • Technology Savvy: Basic computer skills for managing maintenance records.
