Echo Lake Foods, a leading egg products manufacturer, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support operations across our Burlington, WI facilities, now part of Cal-Maine Foods. The role focuses on keeping conveyor systems, motors, and hydraulic equipment running safely and efficiently.

Hours are 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. You will perform preventive maintenance, document work, and uphold GMP and safety policies while collaborating with teams across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong diagnostics and repair of high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with AC motors and VFDs; read blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment to keep machinery safe and efficient.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
• Document daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Operate in line with GMPs and safety policies.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently, including conveyor systems, hydraulic sorting equipment, motors, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair documentation and logs.
• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the industrial maintenance field, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working with AC/DC motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of piping systems and mechanical components.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to operate drilling and milling machines to produce or retool mechanical parts.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leadership.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity required to operate machinery and power/hand tools.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including cold temperature conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
